Why take your car on track?

Taking your pride and joy on track can be fun but it’s also meant to give you a better understanding of your vehicle, the way it handles and reacts as well as an experience of how you are able to control your vehicle making you a better driver on track and on the road.

Knowledge = Power. Power = Faster lap times.

Do not fear the track, but always respect it!

COURSE INSTRUCTOR: JUNAID HAMID

Junaid has been involved with motorsport from a very young age and has had his hand in many forms of racing from karting, drag racing, drifting, gymkhana, rally driving, stunt driving, hill climb racing, endurance racing and most importantly, circuit racing at Killarney International Raceway.

Junaid is currently a track day instructor at Killarney International Raceway as well as the race pro/driving instructor at a racing experience company but now offers his own course privately suited for your vehicle and needs. Junaid has vast experience at Killarney International Raceway and has done thousands of laps around it. He is the perfect person to take your driving skills to the next level! Of all the tracks in South Africa it’s probably one of the simplest, so it’s awesome for learning.

It has... - 5 corners - 2 Kinks - 2 Long straights - No hills

* This is a relatively quick track at 3.2km per lap.

PRIVATE TRACK DAYS FOR CLUBS/CORPORATES

SpeedStar Advanced Driver Coaching is pleased to offer you private trackday access for groups to Killarney International Raceway. Private Track Days require a minimum of 8 cars and hold many advantages over a standard Public Open Track Day Session.

From full private use of the circuit to the relaxed environment, these sessions offer many reasons to join in over a standard public session - including no other vehicles on track, no spectarors and full personal track instruction!
