Odyssey Garage's Nissan Skyline R30

Otis Gore has been looking for a shell like this for as long as he’s been drifting...that’s pretty much since December 2004 . . . and now he finally has one!

He says he obviously had no choice but to paint it in Odyssey Garage colours, and it came out pretty darn good for a shell that was painted at 4am on the morning of The Lord of the Blings custom car show.

These pics were taken by Otis himself in Woodstock at his sister-in-law's place,...clearly she has a nice deck on top of her house with a brilliant view of the harbour and Table Mountain. It seemed to be the perfect setting for this classic Skyline to be photographed says Otis.

Some of the special features are:
The decal sheet was scanned and reprinted (in reverse) on clear vinyl, and then applied the head and tail light decals on the inside if the shell (Otis hates decals that peel off over time, don't you?)
Behind the decals he used ER34 light buckets to house the hi-bright LED’s.
The taillights are attached to his custom brake light ESC, so the LED’s light up in a very realistic fashion when the brakes are hit.
For the rims he used the Concourse comp Yokomo chrome mesh rims. It was decided to paint the centers black though and each rim was coated roughly 10 times with Tamiya clear lacquer (Yokomo chrome is notorious for flaking at the slightest provocation).

Old school style! Much Respect Otis! - (RaceMasteR)
