This event will unofficially be the largest Drifting related track day in Cape Town for everyday street cars. The event will be covered by Urban RacR magazine - Cape Towns ever growing and only Streetculture magazine, as well as popular local web sites such as "Raceweb" & Drivebuy.co.za. Killarney will also be the place to be seen, as the photo teams of all the motoring websites will be taking pics for a full article and report in their next issues and web updates! Running from 2pm till 10pm, with a full compliment of track activity, local petrolheads will have their needs fully catered for! Urban RacR is well known for its Blockbuster magazine launches, such as Issue 1 and Issue 3, which attracted record crowds to the Mother City's premier venues in these instances, Wembley Roadhouse and the V&A Waterfront respectively. This translates to a fat turnout at Killarney as it will also serve as a launch platform for the 4th installation!

Speed Junkies will be attracted to the 400m Drag event, where speed and power will separate the men from the boys. This event will see some of the fastest street-cars in Cape Town going head to head for a share of the silverware or prizes on offer. Expect big names to come out to play with some Team Cape Town representatives going up against all the usual suspects. A few will make their way to the drift track eg: Niven Maistry in his 4WD drive Subaru Wagon who intends showing the RWD boys how its done. Achmat Achmat will also be representing in his purpose built Drift-spec BMW!

* The DriftOff will put driver and machine to the test, where handling and skill win the day.
* Cars will compete in a variety of courses, including skid pan and track layouts.
* Racing will be under strict Motorsport S.A. regulations, with safety the main factor.
* Trained marshals and Paramedics will also be on hand to assist all.

* Race entries will be from 13h00 till 14h30 limited to the 1st 120 cars and motorcycles on the drag strip.
* Entries for the drifting will be from 15h00 till 16h00.
* Remember there will be assistance at hand if you are interested in learning to drift.
* All entries are R80 including 1 complementary ticket.

All interested drivers for the events will have to enter and scrutineer on Saturday 17th December from 13h00, at Killarney Race Track. Entries will be limited. No places can be booked. Helmets & Seatbelts and passenger seats are compulsory. Restricted Competition Licenses are compulsory and will be available when entering. MSA Competition Licenses are also valid. Spectator fee is R30 per person (kids under 12 free).
