Story by Travis Talmarkes The Cape Rush park off had been promising to be quite big if one takes into consideration the amount of time and effort they’d spent on promoting the event. The road leading to Sable Square, which was the venue for the park off, was backed up with people waiting to get into the parking area, and there was an even longer line of people waiting to get in at the entrance to the parking lot. When we got to the entrance the parking was completely packed with people and cars. The sound off to your right, chows straight ahead, nicely grouped together for convenience; to the left was the DJ, Bboys and girls battling to the Hip-Hop beats with the D10 okes drifting their RC cars slideways in the far corner of the parking lot. |
